Stephen Perer founded Superior Homes because he believed that the only way to ensure the perfection he sought when working for others, was to take control and manage construction from start to finish.

“This is a tough, competitive industry and things do go wrong,” he says. “But if you cut corners, you can guarantee that these deviations will come back to haunt you at some point in construction.”

Stephen has been in the industry for more than a quart of a century, starting as a tradie in 1988, gaining hands-on experience as an apprentice roof carpenter. He graduated to running his own roof carpentry business before electing to learn the complete building process.

He became a building supervisor and worked for a number of Western Australia’s top construction companies. His passion for perfect finishes and faultless production procedures has seen him win many Housing Industry Awards for homes that he has supervised over the years. 

In recent years he has worked in managerial roles and been responsible for developing the chain of procedures and processes that guarantee quality service and an outstanding product for the client.

His commitment and passion for producing quality homes led to the birth of Superior Homes WA.
